My story
I work between the user, the engineer, and the business.
I am a product manager. I spend my time between what users need, what engineers can build, and what the business can carry, from discovery through launch and the iteration after it.
I learned that in a classroom, where you find out fast whether the thing you made actually works. Since then I have led curriculum for a district and built SaaS and edtech products at two companies. Complicated things are only complicated until someone sits down and sorts them out.

Make the call, say why
Most decisions are not close. The ones that are deserve a written trade-off the whole team can argue with and then move past.
Leave it running without me
If the next person cannot pick it up without me in the room, I am not finished. Documentation is part of the build.
